The Liturgical Dance Ministry enhances the spiritual faith of our community by celebrating the gift of prayer through movement. Our dancers range in age and experience. The junior group, ages 8-12, attend a summer dance camp where they learn some of the required choreographies. Rehearsals for the senior group, 13-adult, are required and scheduled on Sunday afternoons.

Members:

• Demonstrate a commitment to the ministry and to St. Andrew's
• Attend rehearsals
• Learn the dances and celebrate with confidence
• Sign up to dance at the scheduled Masses
• Keep in contact with the ministry head
• Make opportunities to improve on dance skills
• Assist with rehearsals
• Assist with contacting Junior dancers
• Assist with dance dresses, candles, and other materials use by the ministry
• Model spirituality both in the Mass celebration and out
