Children who have reached second grade or higher and are uncatechized (have not had previous R.E. classes), will be placed in the Children’s Catechumenate, otherwise identified as the CIC process. Preparation for all Sacramental celebration will take place in this two year process. This is in association with Sunday Mass.
Children who are coming to the parish requesting Sacramental preparation and celebration are required to have a year of religious education prior to the year of Sacramental preparation. This is a diocesan requirement.
CIC candidates will not participate in the second or third grade Sacramental preparation sessions.
